Camille Hunt

Camille Hunt is a Brooklyn-based figurative artist whose work explores identity, self-expression, confidence, and the way we see ourselves and one another.

Camille’s relationship with figurative art began while earning her BFA in painting from the University of Mississippi, where she also worked as a life model. Seeing the human body translated into artwork showed her how art could shift perspective—turning the things we scrutinize in ourselves into something expressive, individual, and beautiful.

After university, Camille spent four years traveling and working throughout Europe, Asia, South America, and Australia. While living in Melbourne, she began teaching life drawing and rediscovered her connection to figurative work. She eventually landed in Brooklyn, where an experiment using her own painted body to create impressions on paper evolved into her signature body-printing practice.

Since then, Camille has worked with more than a thousand people, creating one-of-a-kind pieces that celebrate individuality rather than an ideal. At a time when our understanding of beauty is increasingly shaped by highly perfected and digitally created imagery, her work offers something intentionally human: a reminder that what makes us different is often what makes us most interesting.

That philosophy has naturally grown beyond Camille’s studio into custom experiences for brands, organizations, and the communities they serve.

Camille works with each partner to translate the ideas at the heart of her practice—creativity, confidence, individuality, and human connection—into an experience appropriate for its audience.
