Hannah is a master storyteller with a talent for building rich, emotionally resonant worlds. As a writer and director, her work is defined by layered characters, intricate storytelling, and a deep sense of authenticity. Whether it's a comedic campaign or an emotionally forward social series she will keep you entertained.
Hannah Lehmann is an award-winning screenwriter and director from Sydney, Australia.
For her digital series ‘Two Sides’, Hannah won an Australian Directors Guild award and a Streamy Award, and was nominated for an NAACP Image Award for her work on the series. She created and directed ‘The Unboxing’ for Seven Studios, and began her career with ‘The Out There’, a series she produced and wrote for Instagram.
Currently, Hannah is writing her debut feature ‘It’s Probably Nothing!’, and is the creator and writer of her semi-autobiographical TV series ‘Mirrorball’with the support of Screen Australia, and produced by Easy Tiger Television. The series is in development with a major streamer. She has several other projects in development with Curio Pictures and The Dollhouse.
On the feature side, Hannah is currently adapting a best-selling book for iGeneration Studios, and has adapted another best selling book for Leone Films.
On the commercial side, Hannah’s clients include Amex, Vogue, ViVo, eBay, Revlon and Mardi Gras. She was a finalist for Best New Director at the 2022 Shot Awards.
Hannah was honored as a Screen Australia Talent LA delegate in 2019 , a Cannes Catalyst Delegate in 2024, and a WIFT CinefestOZ delegate in 2025. She currently lives in Sydney, Australia.
Hannah is represented for film and tv in the USA by Navigation, in Australia byRGM and commercially by Mint Filmsin Australia.
