Photographer and Director
Lauren Vied Allen is a Mexican-American photographer, motion director and stylist focused on food and travel as a means of gaining a larger understanding of the cultural identities that surround her. Driven by storytelling, color, texture, and a deep appreciation for life, Lauren's work lives at the intersection of candid, in-the-moment Gen Z energy and elevated, aspirational Millennial aesthetics.
Lauren splits her time between commercial work for food + beverage brands, capturing restaurants and their restaurateurs, and capturing beautiful recipe setups for the latest cookbooks.
You will find Lauren’s images in a number of 2024’s best selling cookbooks like Von Diaz's Islas and Paola Velez’s Bodega Bakes. When Lauren isn’t capturing food-specific content, you can find her traveling the world, with a camera in hand, capturing the people that inspire her.
